A locals’ Mexican cantina inside one of the prettiest hotels in the valley — big flavors, fair prices, and room to breathe.
Tucked inside Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Borracha is the kind of place locals keep in their back pocket. The dining room is warm and wood-beamed with a big center bar, the staff actually takes care of you, and — this matters out here — there’s plenty of parking and none of the Strip shuffle. It’s a full night out without the full Strip price tag.
The menu runs deep: the bean & cheese dip and crispy dynamite shrimp tacos to start, quesa birria tacos and braised short rib birria in the middle, and Borracha fajitas sizzling past your table just to make the decision harder. Everything comes out super fresh. There’s a real vegan section, too — not an afterthought.
Local’s tip: the fajitas officially come as chicken or shrimp — ask for both together, it’s not on the menu but they’ll do it. And opt for the black beans. They’re delicious.
Two insider plays: weekend brunch (Saturday & Sunday until 4 PM) with churro French toast, chilaquiles, and pozole — plus bottomless Micheladas or Mimosas for $25. And on game days, it’s one of the best seats in Henderson: a $25 pick-three appetizer sampler, $5 domestic beers, and free house shots when Las Vegas scores a touchdown.
